Not caching much these days but noted at the local Coles. They actually looked like they had pallet loads of the specials ( for once ).
Only bought myself some new lunchboxes
Addendum: Just found the catalogue on line and only available till 23/6

Hokay, I already have 4 GPSs but a mate of mine just gave me his old Magellan Gold. Who am I to offend him and refuse his kind offer :P It's loaded with Aus maps so that's a bonus........ It's got a 128MB SD card installed ( which I think contains the maps ) So some quick questions.... 1. On the Abo...

Re: what is the most time you've replaced one of you cachers
3 times so far.
It's in an area highly used by muggles, dogs, children etc......
It's either been muggled or taken out by the tide
Still a great hide area but rethinking where to hide it down there.
If it goes after relocating think that'll be it for this cache

I like BeelineGPS It has the standard "tracking" features like a handheld GPS Allows you to easily see caching details including logs Easy to maintain with GSAK. Only thing I'd really like would be map overlays, then it would be perfect ( for me :-P). If you have a bluetooth GPS, then you can use on...

I dislike public hides for this very reason, give me a nice quiet bush setting any day :) Even if it's a bush hid, if the next find is a DNF, I'd be thinking...... maybe I didn't cover it properly , or put it deep enough in the hole or someone was watching me or aliens took my baby or.................

Does anyone else feel "guilty" when.....
the cache you've just found has a DNF logged after your find. Do you worry that you hadn't rehidden properly ??? Case in point, one I did in Sydney had 4 DNFs after I did it. As such I started feeling guilty that I hadn't rehidden it properly, it's fallen off as I hadn't reattached it properly, it w...

Correct, owner ID is a GC thing. Use your name and GC and GCA should both be happy. The only "gotcha!" could be if you've placed caches with a different typed-in name on GC; they won't be recognised as being yours. You are correct !! Our first cache was placed in my login and kids name. It doesn't ...

GSAK and GCA imports
For some reason , when I load GPXs in GSAK it appears to "reset" my GCA finds to the default.
So I sets them to "found" manually ( yellow ), but something in the uploads resets them ( white )
Any ideas guys and gals ?????

Maybe it's just Tassie but...... When I first started caching after doing our first few R12 mentioned to his best friend at school that he'd done some caching on the weekend and where we'd done them. "Think that's one of ours" says his best friend. Turns out that his dad was Malbena :-) He's been in...

Being new I initially used just my Tomtom for the first couple of caches. This meant printing out pages and carrying them with me. It meant that I could only do the caches that I had on paper with me. I just happened to remember I had a Ipaq and a Navman sleeve stashed away in a drawer from years ag...
