Re: Where are we all from??? (introduce yourself) parts 1&2

We've had a l-o-n-g break and thought we'd reintroduce ourselves. We're Amanda & Gary, from Alice Springs (owners of the well known Travel Outback Australia website). We're a park ranger (him) and an anthropologist/archaeologist (her). We've just introduced eldest daughter (23 yrs) to caching and sh...

Next trip to Alice in the very near future to hike the Larapinta Trail. Oh btw best short walk and cache near Alice in my opinion is Pound Lookout. Part of the Pound walk. Hey Tronador, the Lara trail is fantastic. Us Lost Souls work for Parks & Wildlife so we've walked all of it several times over...

Some -but not all- have pools.

However, when it rains up here it's usually when it's 40 and...

Extracting Lats & Longs from ASUS PDA running Copilot 6

Oh dear. We decided to place a new cache on the weekend and took the ASUS PDA with us. We have Copilot Live 6 on the PDA and saved our location as a 'point of interest', thinking that we would be able to easily retrieve the lats & longs when we got home... Well  we can't do it. We have no idea ...
