Re: Finding Own Caches

A couple of comments have caught my attention. First, I agree with WazzaAndWenches that I would also log my own event caches, should I host an event and perhaps even a locationless. Second, I agree with No_Tomorrow that finds should not be claimed on archived caches, particularly in circumstances su...

Re: Finding Own Caches

I've also logged my own moveables, but only when I've found them in the wild and usually after they have been out of my hands for quite a while after publication, and then only once, as is my practice for any cache. While we're on the topic, I'd be interested in thoughts about logging caches more th...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Hi Guys I just published GA13696 and used incorrect posted coords first up. These have been corrected and it shows up in Marrickville dZ, but on the cache page it shows as Strathfield. Can you fix for me please? Thanx LL On the geocache page, look to the right and you should see a link for "Update ...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

Hi administrators I have in excess of one hundred eligible finds for December, but only 98 have counted for the Journey or Destination game. I only noticed when my last two logs didn't seem to gain any steps, then I checked my December finds and I'm probably five or six steps fewer than the number ...

Thought so, but just wanted to confirm my own view of cacher etiquette :)

Re: Is it kosher???

I have seen some evidence recently of caches which look to have been logged on dates other than the date on which they were found. I didn't think too much about it at the time, but checking my dragonZone trophies recently, the thought occurred to me that maybe the late logs are being used to claim ...

Re: Trig Finds pathtag

I agree with the others Roger, thanks for taking this project on. The new tag has come up a treat and has found its place along side the others received through your generosity.

Re: My Query (trigs) - found status

Hi Lee

Are you using GSAK to manage your caching? If not, you might want to have a look at it. Makes life much easier.

If not, perhaps adjust your query to only load unfound caches to your GPSr.

I hope I've understood your query properly.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

I think I might have found another map anomaly. Looks like Tenterfield zone is being picked up in Queensland and should be in NSW. It runs along that border area which zig zags a bit.
