Tech question. Does Ubuntu/Linux read/write external USB NTFS hard drives? e.g. If I had an XP machine and a Linux laptop could I simply (i.e. seamlessly) exchange the drive between machines? The server was unresponsive for a little while this afternoon, but as you can see, it's back now. According to the excuse generator ... a bit bucket overflow was the cause. :) Actually, we don't know what happened (it might have been google lapping up everyone's keywords), but kicking the web server...

Depending on the location, the lands dept of NSW has a geocode lookup on their site. IIRC, whereis.com.au could be used to do it, if you don't mind wading through the page source to find the coords.
