Re: Senate - Calls for nominations 2018 / 2019

I am not all that vocal on the forum but do keep an interest in what is going on. A have been caching since 2004 and a member of GCA since then. C...

With acknowledgement of the author. totalube.. Genesis On the first day NavStar created the satellite orbit and it was good, so he added a constellation of 36 satellites to it. On the second day he created the receiver. He knew it would advance with time, so he also made the firmware update. On the ...

Re: Maps for caching in Japan?

I have used the OSM maps in the USA, Japan, SE Asia, NZ and the Pacific Islands and find that it does everything that you would want on Handheld Garmins and Garmin Nuvi's.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

In answer to Richary about maintaining his NSW database.. I maintain my NSW DB (and GCA) with 9 PQs weekly. I have them set up with different date ranges and set them for caches which have had logs in the last 7 days. Each PQ is set to provide about 600-700 caches to cater for weekly fluctuations (a...

Spikes in Graph

I regularly look at the stats graphs for 0070_finds_by_month_year to see the trends of finds around the country. Most states are easy to see the trends except for Queensland, South Australia and , now, Northern Territory which have both had a large spike for 1 month at the time of the "Mega" events ...

I am used to help links says HELP. Also, in this case, I was not looking for "help". I was looking for general information about D...
