Re: Android Geocaching Apps

Cache Sense has a demo version and I'm pretty sure it will do everything that the gc.com app does plus more I'm a premium member but I think it does the basic nearest 5 caches if you aren't.

Re: Android Geocaching Apps

how do you do this? and, it was all good and working in the previous 3 months, only just started doing this in the past week. Go to GC.com and edit your log, that allows you to change the date. The difference in dates from your first few months of use could be due to the time of the day you are pos...

Re: Android Geocaching Apps

Uploading Android Logs to GSAK. For those who may be interested, I have hit upon a method to create my logs on the Galaxy and upload them into GSAK. Not as dead simple as using a laptop, but if you don't have a laptop, and still want to log using GSAK, it works. I used to do a similar thing using C...

Re: Android Geocaching Apps

Hi, I have the Groundspeak app. I find it quite good... except, it records the date as the time in the US. Useless as here in Oz. I've looked at settings on the app (& on my geocaching.com account) and can't find anything. Does anyone know a solution for this annoying issue? The easiest solution is...

Re: Android Geocaching Apps

In the last few weeks I have started using Cache Sense on my Android phone. It has previously only been available on BlackBerry. I had used cGeo in the past for the odd cache find and log. Cache Sense uses the gc.com API and it has some great functionality (IMHO). The developer seems keen to take it...

Re: 2009 Cyber Flash Mob Topic “Positive Caching Experience”

One of my most positive caching experiences was meeting the Alchin caching team in Adelaide earlier this year with Konie. So nice to meet such nice people and to share a nice cool afternoon drink with them too. It made our day and trip.

Yeah I hear that those Drop Bears can be really nasty. :D :D :D

I will spread the word about the event - I'm sure some other Kiwi's would be keen.

Is it ok if some Kiwi's check in for this one too??? It would be a shame to miss out on all the fun - you did say MEGA Event? 2010 seems a long way off but the dates are good - fits in well with NZ school holidays. Might be a good opportunity to see somewhere other than the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. W...
