Bulk delete of found caches on a Dakota - any suggestions?

Does anyone know a way of doing a bulk delete of found caches? The Dakota has a onboard filter to list found caches but I can't work out how to do a bulk delete. Please help.

Re: Would a field for GPS type in the Cacher Page be a good idea

Can I just say that the Squidgee 65 is an excellent 2 channel gps. I have found that the Sguidg tends to get the 'suburb' almost correct 60% of the time.

Re: Home Contents Insurance

Thanks for the reply. It looks like we have a similar but different policy. My wife called the insurance company back and the first person she spoke with was okay with it, but, when she spoke with the Claims area they wouldn't accept the claim. He reckons they don't cover any handheld items such as ...

Home Contents Insurance

I managed to lose my gps today whilst looking for Ainslie Sheep. I called my insurance company and they said it isn't included on my contents insurance as gps's aren't listed on the 'unspecified personal effects'. I was hoping a gps that was used exclusively for caching might come under 'sporting eq...

Sighting of the Google Streetview car - Canberra

I was picking my son up from pre-school and looked up to see one of the Google Streetview cars drive past in the carpark.

MIO Digiwalker 230

Bought the MIO for $170 with a 2008 map upgrade and all the usual bits and pieces from Bing Lee here in ACT. Iam finding it excellent value. Data entry is quicker than the Navman in that it only searches for streets in the town entered. I haven't explained that very well but it is late. It does perm...

I hope you find what you are looking for.

I too was looking for something new, I was a public servant with a half decent job that was paying well but it was time for a change, I didn't want to spend the next 20 years or so applying for promotions and being told I was very suitable but not the best applicant. So after a bit of planning and s...

Garmin eTrex Vista C

Its time to hand back my trusty yellow e-trex to its rightful owner so I have been looking around. I tried out a Magellan 500 for about a month for work purposes and it was great to use. But, the cost is a bit over the top. So, does anyone have an opinion on the Garmin eTrex Vista C. What are the ru...

Not bad for a 1994 Nissan Pulsar

Driving along tonight on my way home my Magellan was indicating my track was heading more left than expected, apparently I was driving across a sheep paddock and had managed to cross two creeks and started heading up the side of Mt Ainslie, ACT. Bit unusual, I reckon I was still on the bitumen and a...

Magellan GPS with maps

I have been given the terrible task of buying a couple of GPS's with maps for work :D . (they obviously haven't seen all my DNF's) I have looked around on the net and found the Magellan 210 and the 400. Any one have any thoughts on the + and - of these units. One salesman told me that the 210 is old...

Magellan Meridian Platinum (Land) GPS

I am looking at a 2nd hand Magellan Meridian. Any comments on reasonable price I should pay and is this a good unit. I am looking to upgrade from my yellow etrex and was hoping to get a unit with Aussie maps.

Any other recommendations welcome.

thanks

Kids caching web site/sub account?

Would it possible/viable to have a kids only account/section. I recently had my nieces in town for a few days and as always we head out and do a couple of caches together. My question is rather than them becoming 'members' could I sponsor geokiddies in their own sub-account. They can do the counting...

Beyond Tomorrow - Channel 7, Wednesday 7.30pm

Channel 7 have been running a promo on a new fangled gps system. Don't know much more and their website says even less. May be worth watching.
