Sorry, just filling in the missing gaps here.. I should have said that I use Nroute on a PC in my car, When the maps are loaded onto a GPS it works fine. But on Nroute (on the fly calculations dont work while on Metroguide V4.00 it worked perfectly..

I thought that the New Metrguide 6 was a good but today when I tried to navigate to a waypoint (on the fly style).. The new map has totally remvoed this feature, while the old Version 4 could still have this feature, im very disfatisfied, As to me I would have still thought the new map could support...

Nroute will work with Metroguide, as I am using it myself. But you will not be able to automatically route it will only put your car onscreen and if you select to route to a waypoint it will just have an arrow pointing in the general location of the waypoint, just like geocaching in the bush with a ...

I think it would be a good idea to stay with a magnetic reference, as on the rarest of occasions I have used a old compass to follow a bearing when I had very bad reception... A compass follows the magnetic reference and so should anything else based upon a bearing
