Games Suggestions - Golf Theme

Moving on from this thread: https://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=19934 ---------------------------------------- First idea for a game sometime in the future. It wouldn't run in conjunction with the Presidents Cup in December 19 as our 2020 games kick off in January 20. So sometime in...

Finding Own Caches

With the future direction of our website being guided by caching community, I'd like to see what cachers thoughts are on players finding and logging their own caches. Do you log and find your own caches? I've been playing at Geocaching Australia since Jan 2011 and have noticed an increasing trend of...

Why? Were you planning on hiding a Night or Puzzle cache in the ACT? I think you'll find that bonus was for hiding those type of caches only.

Re: Can i be a travelling Geocache

I thought that any cache that's comes in 'your' area will result in an e-mail notification to alert you. Is this not the case?

Re: Can i be a travelling Geocache

To ensure you are 'found' as many times as possible as a Geocacher geocache, log yourself into the towns you will be visiting at least one day before you actually arrive.....more than one day would be better, but that will obviously depend on you how you are going. Hopefully the local cachers will t...

Re: About GA2060 cache

It's a 10th anniversary cache. It was a promotion that was run to celebrate the 10th anniversary of caching in Australia and all caches that were published for it have the symbol. The first line in the cache description mentions it. A couple of threads that I hope will give you a bit of an idea abou...

What?! No Tomorrow just posted on the forum! I'm bored and miss this community so just thought I'd take a peep at what's happening.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Could GA11552 be checked. The cache is listed as being in the East Gippsland dZ, however the co-ords, and map, show it as being in the dZ of Monash.

Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia

More good oil from your primary developers…. You can now create a list of archived caches by a latitude and longitude search. Head to this link, https://geocaching.com.au/find/geocache, and look for: Search for a Geocache Archived Caches Enter the co-ordinates you wish to search, Select GCA or ALL ...

Re: Elevation for Dinosaur Racers

Thanks for asking the question about racers being on or not on the ladder geono. I didn't know that so it was good to get the answer. I see we are now up to 200 racers. =D> =D>

Just shows that if we don't ask, we don't find out....

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018

Hoping to find a few in Gold Coast or Northern NSW. I think there's a few of us jurassic geocachers hiding dinosaurs in the area. There is a stegosaurus eagerly waiting for the 1st of September at the back of Palm Beach. Is that far enough south? I hadn't planned on hiding anything further south be...

Re: Locationless Caches

My problem with them is that cachers don't follow the requirements of the locationless.... e.g. The latest one (at time of writing) GA12559 - Circular Saw blade Art, states what is required, however the only claim to date does not meet the requirement. So why bother going to the trouble of hunting d...
