Hema Navigator

I'm thinking about buying an HN6. Does anyone use it for geocaching i e loading it from PQs? If so, can a simple guide for the tech-challenged be posted, please? Or can I be directed to useful info? :?

Thank you, CraigRat, it's obvious when the answer is seen! Didn't think to query the email, assumed it was automatically generated.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

We 'temporarily disabled' Ranelagh View while we considered it's future after it was muggled. It was 'archived' after 90 days with a message that "When the cache is ready to be activated again the owner can place a 'published' log and it will go live". The cache has been replaced and a 'Published lo...

Re: NZ MEGA 2012 - an update

We, well actually I, have registered interest. I really want to go, Mrs has not yet joined in enthusiastically. Does that count? Any hints on how to generate her enthusiasm?

Re: Welcome to the Easter 2012 Oz Mega Event

Excitement builds! :D But the winter migration north of the Victorian sub-species of the Great Grey Nomads also gets underway at the beginning of June so this pair don't know where they will have alighted to rest when the 9.00 am day breaks! 8-[

Re: Welcome to the Easter 2012 Oz Mega Event

Wouldn't miss it for quids! 2 adults in our beloved caravan. You folks are awesome and must be congratulated for your work and vision =D> =D> We wouldn't have minded moving (would a Moving Mega Event Cache have been unique?) but are equally happy with a one-site Event. Can't wait to meet old and new...

Re: Launching Australia's "OZ MEGA ADVENTURE"

We haven't visited the Forum for ages and missed this 'till now - and now we are amazed. We thought the a terrific success of Oz First Mega wouldn't happen again, but here we go, another adventure and what imagination! \:D/ 2012 can't come soon enough. A quick run through the posts brings up so many...

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia

Reading through the logs, there have been mixed experiences. Some folks have had a terrific time and I'm genuinely pleased for them. Gee, Princess Diala, I can't imagine tearing round Melbourne at night, poking in odd places and working out clues. =D> Unfortunately, we are one of the teams left disa...

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia

Yes, but not in Australia. There are two GCA anniversary caches in Ontario, Canada. You may have noticed that the tag line (title) at the top of your browser at http://geocaching.com.au now says "Geocaching Australia - Free and Open Global Geocaching" Melbourne today, tomorrow the world =D>

Re: Launching Australia's First Ever Mega Event-Wagga Wagga 2010

500 teams caching over a weekend - not a probem! We had the fantastic experience of being at the UK's First Mega in 2008. Over 900 individuals and it was an afternoon Event. Yes, folks turned up early and covered cache hunting in the morning but, so far as we observed, none of the problems anticipat...

Re: Launching Australia's First Ever Mega Event-Wagga Wagga 2010

To support the committee who bravely picked this ball up and ran with it we have to keep raising the Mega (yes, it will be =D> =D> ) Event profile. One thing I do is add this text to every log "Are you going to Australia's First Mega Event? Easter 2010 in Wagga Wagga. See GC1YJ5R and http://www.rivc...

Re: 'Theft' of trackables - it's getting ridiculous.

We have had several experiences of MIA TBs. We dropped a very special one, owned by a young lad in Japan, in a cache in the Orkney Islands, where the lad's grandfather was born. It wasn't mentioned for almost four months, then appeared in Czech Republic. Our conclusion was a tourist who didn't bothe...
