So the owners dont delete the log?? Maybe they actually were all done in the same month but they were just all logged on the same day and couldnt be bothered changing the date?

Re: Continuous cachers

Checked out some of the other graphs on there... notably 'cachers by finds in a single day' Someone has 400 finds... that can't be possible surely... 1 find every 3.6 minutes for 24 hours straight. With caches needing to be at least 160m apart (granted they are finds on GC as well) They'd need to tr...

Continuous cachers

I dont think the subject heading is exactly how i want to put it. But does anyone have a rough idea or wish to estimate the number of cachers who appear in 'the game', even join the forum, proclaiming their excitement and undying love for their newly found hobby, only to disappear back into muggle l...

Re: What's your Radius?

In the rural parts of NSW cache density isn't as great..... But here are my current stats and radius. I guess 1/3 unfound in 50km radius isn't too shabby. I'll look forward to your log on this one then! http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga0603 It's ..... challenging. :stabby Hahaha - oh dear its...

Re: What's your Radius?

my third nearest is only 3.7km away but at 8m up a tree is well out of my reach! Dont tell me that you're referring to "All strung out"? I had fun placing that one  Kudos to MtBikeroz for adopting my canberra caches. My caching karma would be massive compared to what it is now without my c...

Re: Caching Bag & contents

I cant even make out what half the stuff is in that picture mr router. All i can say is it's definitely not necessary for my caching adventures. I change the contents of my backpack for every search depending on terrain, difficulty etc. My most common gear is as follows: gps (obviously), mobile phon...

Re: GCA interesting/strange suburb listing

I should add that the data is some 10 years (or so) old, so it's also very possible that that locale no longer exists (if it ever did). Having said that, however, there is this ... http://www.weathercity.com/au/qld/meringa/ and this http://nona.net/features/map/placedetail.1507950/Meringa/ and this...

Re: GCA interesting/strange suburb listing

Ah... im just going to give up now, after locating said 'odd' suburb "Meringa" and using Aus post postcode locator, i fail to find a match for the suburb listed. I was under the impression the location should have been edmonton or Mt Peter from the location. Damn shifty posties :? Dont matte...

GCA interesting/strange suburb listing

Has anyone else noticed on the GCa front page where new caches and recommended caches etc, are listed with their suburb or area, that the suburb does not really match what seems to be conventional suburb areas or the listing has something completely separate from road maps or google maps? Im not sur...
