Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I tried four times over about an hour before I was able to read the latest post. The first three times I got this interesting message: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Too many connections [1040] An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persi...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I just noticed a small error in http://geocaching.com.au/stats/range/ GC Caches by Hidden Date Range. Western Australia 6. 11-Aug-12 to 14-Mar-13 994 caches should read 11-Aug-12 to 13-Jan-13 997 caches. I've never seen an error there before. Yep, The feeds are getting more and more behind on what'...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I periodically have the same thing happen, have to check every couple of weeks. Seems to usually be a cache where I have edited my found log. GCHTVX Pathway to the sea and hills in south Australia has re-surfaced in my duplicates at least half a dozen times since 2009. It only affects my total finds...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I'd forgotten all about Bingo, having dropped out of the game very early, so it was a nice surprise to get a Bingo tag to add to my meagre supply. Bingo is my 20th gca tag, even though my 'Rewards' page at http://geocaching.com.au/my/reward/ tells me "You have 19 Shipped Rewards" - must be something...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Can i propose a new game after this one is finished. Moveable caches that have QR codes attached. Find the cache, scan it straight away to indicate its been found then place somewhere else later. I would dig that! Can someone explain how i can create QR codes, LOL! Go to your cache page. Prin...

So did I, but when I raised it in this forum I was told quite clearly "There is NO OBLIGATION to do a grab and drop."DaFiChNi Team wrote:....well we feel an obligation to be considerate and courteous to other players.

There is NO OBLIGATION to show any consideration to other players in the game. That's why there is also NO OBLIGATION to do a grab and drop.DaFiChNi Team wrote: This is simply as a consideration to other players in the game. Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I too have given up, being able to complete a card. Unlike Geosportz, the numbers needed are beyond our control, and it is shear luck if your numbers are in your area. I'm happy to move a cache along and find it once, but won't be finding the same caches over again. I was in the process of creating...

I keep dropping movers close to me, and they get picked up and taken away WI THOUT REPLACEMENT. ](*,) We WERE dropping caches where we had picked others up from but it was confusing people that arrived after us as they were logging the number they THOUGHT was there, not the number they actua...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Why is that any different than publishing caches by arrangement and then the next day dropping other caches by arrangement. In both cases I had started to go for them before being advised that they had already been picked up. I expected the delay between Publish and Find would have been less than f...
