Re: Is Geocaching Australia worth pursuing?
Is GA worth pursing ? The short answer is YES. GCA provides us with 5 star QUALITY and as we all know QUANTITY does not necessarily mean QUALITY. I have been monitoring the topic "Melb Mega and what not to miss in Adelaide" and this yet another reason why GCA must continue. GCA provides us with the ...

Re: Proposed new home page
Hey C@W I love the the new layout especially for a newbie to GCA e.g. me with zero GCA finds. =D> =D> =D> Having worked in IT for some time now I know there are some challenges in forms design. The first is you cannot please everyone and you never will, that is the nature of the beast, so don't wast...

Re: Adelaide geocache?
I am involved in Scouts and have been asked on a few occasions to teach the scouts about using GPS units and to achieve this I use geocaching as an example of how the GPS units can be used. Rather than using publicly listed geocaches I setup a series of caches around or near the local scout hall. I ...

Re: Some thoughts on GCA...
Thank you Monkey King I now have a word that describes my GCA usage, that is "LURKER". I visit this forum at least once a day to see whats happening and to learn from other peoples experiences. I don't post very much because unless I think there is something positive or useful that I can contribute ...

Re: Pathtag Bags - hand crocheted.
Hi Wendy, I have been the fortunate recipient of one of your PT bags which was totally unexpected. We met an event in Canberra and the next thing I know I am being presented with a new PT bag. It has been great. You then (at my request) made a bag for my son Murf who has a challenging avatar. But be...

Re: Library Geocaching
GC19K2A - Library Lookup is another geocache that can be found in the National Library of Australia in Canberra. The cache was hidden in March 2008 and at the time of this posting the most recent find was in Jan 2014. So the cache has survived the test of time. I assume that TankEngine had to have d...
