Re: Waterproof Sistema? Doesn't look likely

I know a lot of people like them, but I personally am not a big fan. Sistema containers (IMHO) are fantastic in areas that are always dry, but are horrible in areas prone to wetness. Below are some photos of the recently archived cache ( http://coord.info/GC1GRA2 ) that is just down the road from me...

Re: Team cards cuasing a problem.

I chose the Candy option, mainly because I like lollies. The other reason, is because despite thinking that team cards are a silly idea - mere rubbish IMHO - I think the suggestion that they should be "banned" just brings another level of unnecessary regulation.

Re: iPhone Apps

The off-topic part is asking for advice or recommendations from existing iPhone users on other apps that they have found amusing/useful/good value. Not necessarily caching related. 8) Flight Control - free - highly addictive game. Paper Toss - free - another addictive game. Facebook - free - great ...

Re: iPhone Apps

Can't comment on Twitter, but for caching, I use the Geocaching app from Groundspeak.

Available in the app store for $12.99 I think. Well worth the cost IMHO.

Ok, there are ALWAYS going to be Playground Cache arguements and I understand the problem with them for people like my Dad and other bachelors. That is why I Label mine specifically that they are indeed a playground cache. What I don't agree with however is the abuse I have recieved from 2 such cac...

Hey Camstal, I finally gave in to the shineiness and got an iPhone 8GB 3G. I now understand why the Mac fanboys always seem to get that glazed-over content look in their eyes. :D Apart from the camera, it is a great little unit. IMHO Telstra are evil. :P From what I gather their iPhone plans aren't ...

Keep those suggestions coming, although I am surprised no one has mentioned the obvious ones yet  Garmin & Magellan? The flashy public face of Server 1 would have to be Magellan; and the Server 2 database side that does all the work and helps you actually find what you need would naturally nee...

I'd like to see ideology's contributions recognised in these names, since they started the site and paid for its running for all this time. Trouble is, they're both called George! (for those who weren't around in NSW when i! were caching, the running gag is that they both call themselves George, ev...

Looking at Queensland, there's a GA cache that was hidden back in August 2006 that has never been found.

Crappy cache description? Not to be mean or anything, but check out this newly published literary epic: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0ca09754-016a-4bd9-8817-4c08b3b9e0da (Apologies for the lengthy URL). I love the Flinders area, and would be keen to go out there, but hones...
