Re: A event for Introverts!
What about an event, where you don't meet anyone. The idea that you have to keep out of sight from anybody else but still get to a central place to sign a log book, etc within a set amount of time. If you are discovered you must run away and try again to do it without being noticed. You could then h...

Re: Goecaching app for MIcrosoft Surface/Windows RT
Does anyone know of any programs being developed for Windows 8 RT. It would be nice to have GSAK on the Surface or other Windows tablets. With the USB port, it would make a great caching computer. When the Surface pro comes out (Jan?) GSAK will work on it as it runs a full version of windows. But u...

Re: Geocaching for the Nokia N9
There have been some new software for the N9 and geocaching,
Advanced Geocaching Tool for Meego/N9.

I have only just got it, but looks much better and more stable than CacheMe4Harmattan.
It is still in Beta.

May cost more but you could use some cheap rubbish bags.norkmeister wrote:Good point. Those bags have just been banned in the ACTRichary wrote:
Otherwise I think it's a great idea - as long as you can get enough shopping bags these days with more people using green bags most of the time.

Re: Caching Cleanup
This is a very good idea, but one point is that is seems unfair that you need to do all the physical work for this. Is there anyway to offer some sort of incentive for people to pitch in. ie, If could I sourced some cans and bags and prepared them and send them to you, some token could be sent back,...

Geocaching for the Nokia N9
The Nokia N9, Nokia first and most likely only MeeGo powered phone has been out about a month now. At first geocaching wasn't supported at all but the community has started with this app; http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=79177 The works OK, have used it a few times but not found a cache with i...

gsaK html export
I used the GSAK html export function, but the resulting files are missing the cache name and hider in the cache details page. I re-ran the export on another computer and it worked fine. Is there a way to fix this on my home computer, I couldn't find any options on how to change how the file is expor...

Re: Splitting pocket query
GSAK will create a menu driven HTML file that you can then use to navigate to the individual cache page. It is one file but you can view the individual cache pages. I used it on my Windows Mobile before I got a paperless GPSr. Would you have a screen shot of the menu layout, just want to see how it...

Re: Splitting pocket query
I have gotten a new mobile phone and it doesn't have any geocaching software yet. I can however look at HTML files. As the phone has a good search function, I was hoping to have each cache as it's own HTML file that I could quickly search for when I needed cache notes. And as for software, what I am...

Splitting pocket query
Can this be done.
I have a pocket query and I want to split it up so each cache is saved as a separate file, naming each file the GC code
Thanks

Caches listed as disabled/archived
I have noticed that 2 of my caches are coming up with a line through the name, as they where disabled or archived;
eg; http://geocaching.com.au/cache/gc1gwmy
These caches haven't been logged as such, what is happening?
