Hi I have used it successfuly the pixel thing is the clue , I have my maps in ozf2 format and the average pixel for them is between 6 and 8 . I put 4 fairly large local 1:50,000 Topo's together and it came out great

Have a look on Ebay, there was some nice Ipaq cases that included a CF jacket and a 2800 mah battery inbuilt.

I grabbed the Natmap 2 disc set today, the raster mapsheets set. The one thing that has struck me straight away is, the tops and far right of every map is cut off, so, with every map on a slant or skew, and only 1 corner with double lat/long, it is rather hard to calibrate these maps in oziexplorer...

Yep, your right there...bummer. Also I haven't yet figured out how to load bulk waypoints from GSAK or elsewhere directly into the PDA. The turn -by-turn navigation is the most impressive feature in the early use. I know this is not the ideal geocaching GPS, too delicate. I wouldn't like to drop it ...
