Re: Deleting your own logs on GCA for GC caches
I can't recall every having the ability to edit logs from the GC site for general community members. You may have some administrative permissions in the past which allowed that to happen, but the code that detects whether the cache can be edited is rather old and restricts it to just the owner for a...

dragonZone Trophies Progress Bars
If you are a dragonZone member at Geocaching Australia there is something exciting on your dragonZone Trophies page. https://geocaching.com.au/my/dragonzonetrophies/ Each trophy will now interactively display (click to reanimate) a progress bar of how you are tracking to any particular trophy. If yo...

Re: Blitz
Unique as in cannot be found more than once. This is to stop some of the less scrupulous people who will "find" a moveable cache 100 times just to get the points.sirius Tas wrote: ↑04 April 21 11:44 amAs per previous reply re Blitz...what is classed as a "unique geocache"? and who decides if it is?

Re: Blitz
I have thoroughly read the rules of the game, and am looking forward to playing, but I do not understand it all. Is this a game where dragonzone clans compete with other clans, or is it a combined effort, where all clans get together and find caches? Not clan based. Everyone competes to meet the go...

Re: Moved moveables and dZ zone points
We've had this discussion many times and the simple, to the point answer is no, that can't be done. As GPS units are essentially tied to the log types from GC, any new log type causes problems on the units themselves. The system does not know if you picked it up or not when you make your log. We als...

Re: Stopping GCA Alerts
No idea. I have seen this a few time sin the past but I can't work out what is happening. The alert checks for a log date and time which is greater than 5 minutes ago. By the time the 2nd and 3rd emails were generated, unless there is a time anomaly, the original posted date and time of the log shou...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Thank you. Interesting because I couldn't publish it till I agreed that it wasn't in an NP when asked. That's because your listed co-ordinates are in the NSW zone of Cocoparra which is a permission only location. https://geocaching.com.au/zone/view/205/ You MUST provide either: a. A scanned permiss...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
Hi The new icons that have appeared in my dragonZone look good but I noticed my "meter" that shows how close you are to next range has changed. When I first saw it said 40% and now it has dropped to 39%/ I assume the meter gets higher rather than lower as the next level is to the right of the meter...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
The issue has been addressed.
There was a conflict between the permission indicator and the fact that the listed co-ordinates are inside a NSW Parks area. This has now been addressed and should show correctly as you have acknowledged that the final is not inside NSW Parks areas.
