Re: Report Site Issues Here

I don't know if we handle that. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads-up.

Re: Forum Upgrade

Not that I'm aware of.

Try resetting your password as you're in the failed login log file with an implied incorrect password.

Background changes - no visible change

A number of changes have been made in the background. 1. We have simplified the call to decide which geocaches to get for a number of different scenarios. e.g. List of caches, map of caches, searches of caches, etc. This was a nasty sprawling mess of global variables, set, then "hoped to be valid" w...

Re: Unread Posts - link

Your username and password are case sensitive on the main site. The last log we have for you with a failed login has your name in all lowercase. Try it withyour name in the correct case and it should be right.

Re: Viewer Stats

You can ask the cache owner. They see a simple "count" of how many people have viewed the geocache listing page. They cannot see a count over time. But if the cache owner asks we can provide it to them or publicly if they ask for that instead.

Re: GA vs Geocaching.com query

Geocaches are listed by geocachers. They can choose to list at one, the other or both. We don't recommend the same geocache listed at both sites for confusion reasons and there are very, very few that are listed at both sites. So your memory is probably false. We do have the geocaches from geocachin...

Re: Access to the GA App

The password you are using is not correct. We log incorrect password attempts and yours is coming up. I have reset your password (which I will send you in an email). I have logged onto the forum, the site and the app with the new reset password and it works, so I'm not sure what passwords you have s...

Re: Access to the GA App

What troubleshooting did you and mtrax do on the device?
How does he store the cookie?
What error (if any) did he get back from the site?

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions

FYI I referred this suggestion off to Sol de lune who is one of the site games admin for review. In order to run a game we would need a lot more detail to get the rules and the code in place, but as a suggestion it's work taking forward. If SDL can work with you to sort out the rules so it can be pr...
