Re: dragonZone Research Tasks

I gather Research Tasks are different for each person? The tasks for petan are different to those allocated to SambooBear. Yet both are listed as being in the same state and in the same clan. Yes they are. There are around 170 research tasks from Level 1 through to Level 5 that are randomly selecte...

Re: dragonZone

"Do you have a tip about dragonZone you would like to share with the community?" - just saw a tip which needs updating (when the faeries have time) as it doesn't reflect our latest generous 70 ponts for logging in daily (which is much appreciated). Thanks for that. A few dZPoints have been flung yo...

Re: dragonZone Research Tasks

Several days ago I did my research for the 5 tasks listed. Due to currently being in South Australia only two are feasible. Using my queries I identified the caches we could find. Tomorrow we had intended to complete the first task by finding a GCA traditional, regular cache that is nearby at an el...

Re: Dragon Zone Logo on Import Summary

The dZ icon has been there since the game started, some 4+ years ago. It's part of the cachers name if they're part of the game, so it will remain.

Background changes that will affect icons

There are a slew of background functionality changes that you won't notice that are targeted for upcoming changes. Along with these changes there are also changes for the way we are going to deal with dragonZone icons. Part of this change is an increase in size. If you notice that some of the icons ...

Re: Illegally placed geocaches in NPs

My opinion and the mantra of the site is that while we have no rules, we do not do illegal stuff. So if you see something illegal report it to the listing site (either GCA or GC) via a Needs Archived log or via any of the support lines. Provide information as to why you think it's illegal and action...

Re: Illegally placed geocaches in NPs

Geocachines were banned in NSWPWS in 2002. I believe the policy to seek permission was done sometime in 2009 and anything after that should have permission. You should ask yourself why you think a geocache in a NP has no permission? Just because it's there does not mean it has no permission. It may ...

Re: Games Suggestions - Golf Theme

Yeah, no harm, no foul.

As the site is community run nowadays there is no expectation that "someone else" will get it done. There is no "someone else". There is just y'all. So if y'all don't do it, it don't get done.
