Bear_Left as l said in my post l am willing to pay someone to do it for me. infact ld rather just pay someone to do it for me than let them do it for nothing. l dont expect or demand anything for free and always pay my own way on everything.

l have a local linux group but there not the type of group to make you feel welcome and if your not up to speed with what they are doing they dont want to know you. this is the type of group who are not interested in growing in numbers.

is there anyone in the riverland who is able to set linux Fodora Core 6 up on an old P2 computer. l am willing to pay you for your time and come to you. Bugger it l am even willing to travel to Adelaide.

Well one would think that l would learn by now to leave things alone. l have stuff up afew computers including my wifes laptop by over clocking them. This is one of the reason why l like linux cause you can get in and root around with it.

theres nothing wrong with palm os, its just me l cant leave things alone. if it came out with linux you can bet that l would try and put something else on it.

l have a palm treo 650 which l havent used in awhile and reading through some of the post here l see that there are some Linux users. l dont use the treo 650 cause l dont like the OS and was thinking can linux be put on this or will l just have to keep using it as a paper weight ?.
