My personal favourite is Rock On and all of the necessary gear will be supplied to you so there is no need to have special expertise. I haven't checked out Terrortorian's latest caches (the Get out of Town series) but they are worth checking out especially if you want to be near decent food sources ...

I'm in 0810 and the list seems fairly accurate except for one cache that should be Brinkin that seems to have migrated south to Rapid Creek. Not sure where the cut off line is on your map. Also one cache that I would call Fannie Bay has ended up in Stuart Park but the boundary line would be close so...

Re: Security
Hang on a minute... do you have a medicare card? And that is accepted as proof of id, is it not? By my way of thinking then, there is already a National Identity Card.... No, it is not accepted as proof of ID. Anyone who does accept it is fooling themselves. A little piece of plastic with a name on...

Well, if anyone is visiting the Top End and wants to put down a few caches, we are happy to babysit the cache when you go back home. Once we've found it for ourselves! A challenge for any visiting cachers...can you do the entire Top End cache collection [ie within 100 miles] in 24 hours? It should b...

We've broken the 200 barrier!
Good effort for a family of Northern Territorians who have only been geocaching for the past 12 months. Especially when there are only 18 physical caches within 100 miles of us. Traditional Caches* 102 Multi-caches* 30 Virtual Caches* 7 Event Caches* 1 Unknown (Mystery) Caches* 3 Locationless (Rever...

Of course you always have the option of acting like an escaped mental patient, even guards will keep their distance then hoping you will go away quietly. Drooling, going crosseyed and talking to a pretend friend may add that touch of realism required :P Ohhh!! That one, I have got to do that one da...

Well, its the first trip that this Wombat didn't rush out and buy yet another set of thermal underwear LOL. Okay, we di...

GeoWombats are a family group of 4 including a baby and a preschooler. We also include 2 geodogs who on occasion have found the cache before the humans :!: Who goes on what varies. At the moment the GeoWombat with the GPS is in Vic. However that doesn't mean that other GeoWombats are not involved es...

I love it! They even have the coords! I never realised there is one in my suburb. Not sure if I would visit it though - it's the street where the local drug dealers and paedophiles live. But I can see why this register started. People with certain bowel conditions such as Crohnsand IBD tend ...

Well after a couple of days of watching the Groundspeak crap, I've sent an email asking them to revoke my Premium membership and to donate the money to the Tsunami Appeal. I don't like the way TPTB have failed to support their approvers and I definitely don't like the censorship happening in their f...

Happy New Year to you all. We're in the last week of our Victorian holiday and we have had a great time geocaching between family visits and the like LOL. And I haven't even been shopping in Melbourne itself yet! New Year's resolution: to set up some new Top End caches. Have got plenty of ideas... :...
