Do the .gpx and xx-wpts.gpx go into the gpx folder?

Re: Android Geocaching Apps

I paid for the Groundspeak app and found it to be great. I have had no problems at all and it has been pretty well spot on target. The only problem is the phone battery, but that is a different matter.

Swaggie

In trying to create my first swaggie, I accidently created 2 of the same name. I couldn't find how to delete the second one so I archived it. Is there anyway to remove it? :-k

Re: Cache contents

Today I found a paperclip, a bottle top, 2 x 1c pieces and 40c. Most of the time it is really rubbish that is in the caches. Not even appealing to kids.

I just noticed 2 that I drive passed twice a day to/from work. Details are now kept handy for when there is a chance to stop and find.... and a few others that are close by :)

Re: Where are we all from??? (introduce yourself) parts 1&2

I made my first 2 finds (happy dance). "Turners Road", I thought i needed my Mr Magoo arm extension to get at the cache. "Happy Snaps" was a good easy one with a great hint. =D>

Re: Where are we all from??? (introduce yourself) parts 1&2

Hi, Thanks Wendy

I'm not having much luck with just a mobile phone but maybe one day I will locate a cache. There are plenty in my area but I just can't zero in on any :( I will try another one in the next couple of days..

Re: Where are we all from??? (introduce yourself) parts 1&2

Hi, I am Nellc, I'm a newbie and I have yet to do my first find. Before I invest in a GPS I was wondering if there is someone/team in the Maitland/Newcastle area that would be willing for me to tag along with? I am not sure exactly what to do, geo-etiquette, etc. Can someone help me get started plea...
