Re: Is it just me?

So perhaps I should say it this way. Hi my name is Jeremy and the way you name your caches irritates me for no rational reason. Please don't take it personally. I am sure you are a lovely person and I'd be happy to discuss it with you in person over coffee. I'll shout. Would that be an event cache?

Re: Your geocaching goals 2013

Reach 100 finds (41 to go, which is less than 1/week).
Attend another event.
Finish another multi.
I was hoping to finally get http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... wp=gc1dvb0 but that seems incredibly unlikely now.

Re: What Have You Lost/Found?

Not sure I'd want to keep a blood stained knife.

Though if you attached a TB to it, it would make a very unique trackable.

Only thing I've lost is some swag I'd just pulled out of a cache.

Re: Transport help for Gnomes and Frogs wanting to return home.

Is there a simple way to search for movable caches based on their home and current locations?

Re: Small pens

Not exactly compact as I tend to carry a few different types of pens for wet paper, waterproof paper and hot and cold but this one I use specifically for nanos, it has a TINY point that I can write my WHOLE name on the log sheet with and still have room to spare!! I use the red ones but any colour ...

Small pens

So I'm after a nice compact pen that I can carry around with me for when I run into nanos, very smalls, or general unplanned caches. Does anyone have any suggestions? A pen version of those flat carpenters pencils would be nifty, or perhaps a small stylus sized pen as these could slip into a wallet....

Re: OS caches logged but don't show upon GCA

If you upload a gpx with some overseas finds, do those caches then get updated regularly, or only if you or someone else re-uploads a gpx containing those caches?

Re: Coords in Word file to map?

If you have GSAK, import them into a database and use the Google Maps macro, it does a great job and very simple to use. If you haven't got GSAK .....get it! But what if he is a MacMan? You know, those sensible people unlike those Windows folk..... :P Do what I do, Install linux in a virtual machin...

Re: Jervis Bay Territory caches - listed as NSW

Why not go the other way, instead of NSW or ACT snagging JB, JB snags both of them.
