Does anyone know if it is possible to change the cache code to the same as the cache name in the process of transfering caches to your GPS ?
That would do it!

Re: Cache Names Instead of Codes?
Hey Craigrat, I checked and already have %Name in the name section when I send waypoints to GPS. I changed it to %Codes and back to %Names again and it changed in the Geocahes section of my GPS, but in the waypoint manager section on my GPS the cache waypoints stayed as codes. I'm thinking that mayb...

Re: Cache Names Instead of Codes?
Thanks for your reply blossom. I have that option too when I am in the geocahing part of the gps, but I mean when I am in the waypoint manager which shows all waypoints on your gps not just caches. It is hard to manage all my other waypoints(for tracks etc.) when they are all mixed in with geocache ...

Hello everyone, I'm new to Geocaching, I stumbled across it on the web somewhere and thought it sounds like fun. The wife and I already spend a lot of time hiking and bushwalking so finding GC's seemed like a great way to enhance the experience although she's not convinced yet. I live up in the hill...

Re: Newbie Questions
Thanks Papa Bear
What I meant was are all of the GC listed on the aussie site listed on the American site aswell?
I have since worked out that there seems to be a couple that are only listed on the aussie site.
Sorry for the confusion.... I am a very confused person

Newbie Questions
Hi all, I have just started GC hunting and am finding it much fun. I have been using my iPhone with Groundspeaks iphone app but am thinking of buying a proper GPSr. The iPhone GPS seems to jump all over the place and battery life is very short. Anyway, I understand that any GC you find and log on th...
