Re: Nokia E71 + Garmin Software + HEMA Maps
I have a Nokia E71, and I use SmartGPX and Geocaching Live, but SmartGPX is really only when I'm out of service.
Geocaching Live can be a little annoying at times but it's pretty good. The maps aren't routable though, so I guess you'll need your garmin maps for that still.

Re: Geocaching Live Software
I have mine set to spherical. When I put in the wrong one all the maps were offset by a few hundred meters (not very handy) Good to see you have something working though.

Re: Windows 7
Unfortunately XP compatibility mode didn't work that well with a lot of our software under Vista. It is somewhat better under Win7 but still not perfect. I still have a few programs (specialised, designed to manage certain radios) where the display stuffs up = though at least they are usable now wh...

Re: Geocaching Live Software
Yeah, I don't know if you can do it through GSAK (having not ever used that :P) so I just downloaded the PQ straight to my phone and imported it in the Live! program itself. With regards to offline maps, I gave it a try but I only tried a small area. It worked, but I have a generous 3G internet allo...

Re: Geocaching Live Software
The thing I find annoying about it is that even after I've imported a whole PQ worth of caches to the program, It only imports the co-ordinates and the basic details of each cache, and still relies on being able to connect to the internet to give you listing details. This is not useful when you are ...

Re: Geocache Navigator gone...now what?
I just started using Geocaching live, which is free if you are a premium member of GC.com. it seems to be quite hidden away, which is unusual because it is really really good. If you are interested I can post the Google satellite mapset link which I use. Very very handy. You can also choose to eithe...

It's clearly a closely guarded national secret that would be compromised if posted on the internet, duh.
