Re: How many is too many?
Wiki says:- A Locationless cache listing must require the finder to locate an object or perform a task in the real world, collect the co-ordinates and log the find with accompanying photographic evidence. I am trying to work out what task in the real world would be suitable, if there are any curren...

Re: How many is too many?
I enjoy "finding" the jigsaws but at the same time I can see how they are a bit of a different thing to geocaching. One of the proper locationless I have found multiple times is the one relating to street libraries as and when I find new ones. At least that requires a photo and a set of coordinates....

Re: (dragonZone) Moveables being scored for each find by the same geocacher
I don't really believe Dragonzone points are a concern for most players, it is more about number of finds. So if I find 50 moveables at an event (though that is less common these days) then that is 50 finds that add to my total. And yes I agree with the point that if I find a bunch of moveable cache...

Re: Have you ICEM?
Turramurra is fairly close to home so that one should be possible to add one to and I have an idea where I could place a cache there, just need to scout the bush a bit more - easier when it stops raining. Coopernook and Eungai Rail are possibilities if I am ever allowed to visit my mother in a retir...

Re: Update Locality
I couldn't make it work. TP13311 in Echuca has been listed as NSW, but shouldn't it be in Victoria?

Re: Another airchair cacher
It may be easier as I use Thunderbird to download email rather than reading it online, not sure how easy it would be to set up in the gmail web page if you use that. Work emails for my previous job I had to use the web page for google, in the new job it is outlook. And the work setup is weird, I am ...

Re: Another airchair cacher
I have set up an email filter so anything with his name in it just goes straight to the bin, so I don't even see his locationless anymore.

Re: What Three Words
Given I have what3words on the phone already, I don't know if it is a critical thing to implement. It also displays in the Emergency+ app if you have that. Though my iPhone accuracy at least indoors gives me less than 3m accuracy anyway so it keeps changing :D But it could be useful for anyone who w...

Another airchair cacher
So I just got a log on a GCA history cache hidden in northern Sydney from someone based in Perth, who hasn't logged anything since July 30 (and south of Adelaide) on the other site. I suspect the answers may have been googled/guessed until they got the right answer. And with 22000 finds I suspect we...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Is it possible to disable published logs on caches that are already published? I notice Cybergran V tends to publish multiple times which she blames on her iPad coming in and out of range? So if a cache is already published there is no new notification when it gets published a second time? Not that ...

Re: Newbie Q: Do I need anything other than mobile (Android)?
I believe a lot of people use c:geo on Android, though being an iPhone owner I can't comment on it. I don't know whether it just supports the main Groundspeak site or this one as well.

Re: Future Games
I find it difficult to participate in games, given I have few unfound GA caches within easy reach of home or Coffs Harbour where I will probably visit over the Battleship game period. I suppose I could drive to the upper Blue Mountains (about 2 hours away) if rogerw3 still has a lot up there. But th...

It was mentioned in the facebook group that others couldn't get on, but no explanation I saw. At least it came back up (thanks faeries) so I could keep my streak going

Re: Gca on iPhone
There is an app, Geocube. I admit I find it not completely intuitive though and have never got it to talk properly to the website in the field. I have to download the PQs first. Which means planning.
