Re: Senate - Calls for nominations 2017 / 2018
I'd like to renominate for NZ. Have been in a bit of a caching hiatus since moving to NZ, but hoping to turn that around soon and start to engage with the caching community here and maybe stir up a bit of interest in GCA cache types and activities. I will also make an effort to engage more with the ...

Re: Server update
Congratulations to everyone involved in the server installation & cutover. I've been inactive on GCA for a few weeks, having just moved across the ditch in October and taken over a busy motel here in Dunedin. It's been fantastic to experience the performance improvement over the last few days that I...

Re: GeosportZ 2016
Thanks to everyone who made this game happen. I would have liked to have participated more, but didn't get much time for caching last month. Had fun when I did have time to join in though ...

Re: Senate - Call for Nominations for 2016/2017
Back on the main thread ... as I am planning to move in the next couple of months, and will therefore spend the majority of the next senate term in NZ, I hereby nominate as the Senator for New Zealand in 2016/17
Hence, I will stand down as Senator for WA at the end of the current term.

Re: Senate - Call for Nominations for 2016/2017
Yep, I've been thinking about what I might be able to do to rally the troops over there. Release of a few caches of various GCA-specific types with a bit of a promo at a GC event might get the ball rolling. A 2016-17 moveable race might provide an opportunity to garner some interest ... Also, I was ...

Re: Senate - Call for Nominations for 2016/2017
Happy to put my hand up for WA again Change in circumstances: I expect to be moving across the ditch to live in Aotearoa in not-too-distant future, so if someone else wants to put their hand up as WA rep, I will stand down. If not, I'm happy to stay on until such time as someone else from WA expres...

Re: What can Geocaching Australia do for you in 2016?
I have a Planned Query which utilises the ability to tag caches. No prizes for guessing what word I use. I couldn't find any other way of doing it but will stand corrected. Yep, I've done that as well, but looking for a way to do it utilising the hotlist - it is much quicker to add/remove caches fr...

Re: What can Geocaching Australia do for you in 2016?
Explain more about the planned list please. If you're making a query and the criteria fits a planned cache it's automatically on the list. If you're making a query and the criteria does NOT fit a planned cache it will not be on the list. How does having the planned list option help? OR Are you sayi...

Re: What can Geocaching Australia do for you in 2016?
It would be great to have an option to select "Is on my Planned List" when creating a query. Alternatively, on the Planned List page, have the options to output to GPX, ZIP and to view in GMAP, Google Earth.
