Hi Susan I'm fairly new to this myself but thought I would offer my 2 cents worth. We used to have a Magellan 100 but I hated entering individual waypoints (can't hook it up to the computer) so am now looking at getting a Garmin Vista CX or HCX. I like the idea of being able to add maps to it and th...

Eclipse Tins - Micro or Small?

My apologies in advance if this has come up before. I have a couple of Eclipse tins I'd like to put out and to be fair I want to make sure I describe them correctly as either micro or small without actually saying what sort of containers they are IYKWIM. I'll only be putting a pencil, sharpener and ...

Cache's that scare the bejesus out of you

We were out caching yesterday while we were away for the weekend and while scratching around at GZ in the leaf litter I uncovered a great big carpet snake  . I held onto my pregnant belly and got outta there as fast as I could run. I usually have my 14 month old with me and he holds onto the ...

Good question bundyrumandcoke. One I've often wondered about myself.

CanClan, I haven't been able to track down either gps to check them out 'in the flesh'. Only found out today that our local Whitworths may stock both but they are closed today so will check that out tomorrow.

Real Time Chat

I regularly visit the forums and note who is online at the same time as me. Is there somewhere on this site we can all chat in real time like you can on MSN? If not, is anyone interested in participating or starting something like that?
Cheers
