I have tried that and looked in the Garmin Directory and there is no file for USB Drivers. Not even on the disk before installation.

I cant figure out why it wont appear, as I said it works on my other XP computer.

The mapsource version is 4.9

I just loaded Mapsource onto my PC running XP Pro and when I plug in the GPS to USB the PC cant find the drivers. Has anyone had any experience with one of these, I'm considering one for my boat and at $1067 it seems not bad for a plotter. Of course the blue charts set you back about $250 but that can be good insurance.
