Re: Android phone use in NZ. HTC Wildfire & HTC Sensation
I think we might take your advice and get another SIM once we get to Auckland. That way if it runs out we know exactly how much it is using.

Android phone use in NZ. HTC Wildfire & HTC Sensation
We are going to NZ with our Android phones next week and would only want to use them for phone calls and SMSs in NZ and back to OZ. What do I have to do/turn off to stop raking up large data downloads? Will that be the only thing I have to do to cut down the costs?
Thanks for any help...

Re: Brisbane airport caches
Just realized that we will have already left home and set off for the OZ Mega by then but someone else still in Brisbane might be able to meet you and get you around: both caches are certainly walkable. We will be driving down to Albury and pulling our camper trailer as we intend to be away for a mo...

Re: Brisbane airport caches
The 2 caches in the airport area are within walking distance of the terminals. GC2QFAE is within 300 metres of the International Terminal and it is quite easy to find and to walk to. GCGT1P is about a 400 metre walk from the Domestic Terminal and is also an easy walk and the cache is in a drive by a...

Pix overlapping map of OZ & NZ [Fixed]
When I look at the GA front page, the pictures on the right overlap the map of Australia and New Zealand. Once you get below that and get to the Top Hiders, Top Finders, Top Caches; the pictures are to the right of the vertical line drawn down to separate them from the lists. I am using Firefox 4.0....

Re: Geocaches near light houses?
You might like to look at my cache GA1061 which is "Lighthouses of Australia" but that is the Lighthouses themselves and not caches near Lighthouses.

Re: Welcome to the Easter 2012 Oz Mega Event
We should be there whether it's in Gundagai or Albury camping on-site: just the 2 of us from the Sunshine State; when it isn't raining.

Re: Courteous Cacher
Thanks pprass for bringing this to MY attention. I have never bothered to notice the Log Options section as I have been doing this for quite a while now and have just put a correction in my log report if I find that the co-ords are out by a bit. But 795m out to find the cache; that is amazing. I nee...

I'm thinking in the Canberra area somewhere: on the front lawns of Parliament House; no that's been done. Maybe out near the Murrumbidgee.

Android Phone App
Have bought an android phone a couple of weeks ago and have been away from home base the last week and would like to know if there is a way ie an app that shows you the caches in the area that you are in. That is without having to download a query before hand and loading it. Could it just run over t...
