Pictures attached to a Log on a GCA site
Is it possible for a cacher to attach a picture to their log when they have found a GCA cache? I want to set a GCA cache where the cachers who find the cache location have to send back a picture. It would be good if all these pictures returned by cachers who have found the cache are available for al...

Well, it's good to be back from where we've been------. I met Cheesy Pigs and Dippedidooda at a pub in Hobart (so Hi!! again) about a year ago and met many other cachers there too. I have the feeling that this could be a master event if I know their enthusiasm for the game. I will be trying very har...

Found my first 450 caches with a 315 and still have it and when my mate jinga goes out caching with me he uses it and sometimes he finds the cache before I find it with my Garmin Victa CX so it is fine to use. It doesn't have mapping but it will find the cache for you. You might have to use a street...

MODU: Are you asking about putting the shonkymaps on the Vista CX. If you are, I put them on the Vista the other day when I wrote that bit above and they are working fine. I have just walked outside now and around the yard and they are working AND the GPSr is performing well. You will need the card ...

Shonky: This mapping stuff is all new to me. I use a Garmin Vista Cx and in the past I must have downloaded T4A. Don't know how I did it but I have been using it but I notice that when using the mapping screen the arrow often goes off the road which indicates to me that the map isn't exactly accurat...

I have been doing some searching today for UK maps and have come across this map of the London Tube stations with caches along and near every tube station. This might be useful for cachers going into London.

I am going to break in to unbreakables discussion here to add that I will be on the way to the UK and France in about 4 weeks time and have a question about mapping. I use Mapsource and Shonky for my mapping here on the GPSr; are there maps that you can get for free to use in the UK for the GPSr? Al...

Uploading find from the GC site to the GCA site
Is this normal or just happening to me? Over several weeks now, each time I find a few caches in a day, the next morning after the uploads have been done overnight from the GC site to the GCA site only some of the finds are recorded. After a couple of days it manages to catch up. On Tuesday I found ...

Here, Here dak. And up here in SEQld where the drought is really bad; it is almost impossible to walk anywhere without leaving a trail of pushed down grass. And when several cachers use the same track it leaves a very obvious Geotrail. Garden beds should be out unless you can reach the cache from ou...

Well, no phone call was forth-coming but that is no surprise so I visited GME in Brisbane today. "No the GPSr will have to be sent to Sydney and you will have to do without it for at least a week". I thought this was 2007 and not 1957 but I must be wrong. There is only one place in OZ to do work on ...
