My finds Google Earth KLM.file

The problem I have is I can no longer download my found caches with a .klm file to insert them into Google Earth.
Via the Geocaching Australia site I go My Cacher Page then Details when I click on 'Logs in Google Earth' nothing happens. Has this process changed.

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs

Hi Guys, I just returned from holidays overseas where I logged 5 caches (my first overseas) but the logs are not registering in my GCA logs. I am not a premium member so can't use the GPX file method you describe to fix the problem. The caches were GC43328, GC28KA4, GC2Q8HQ, GCJT7N and GC1RQRW which...

Tree cover performance of a Garmin map60 csx

I am thinking of purchasing a Garmin Map60 CSX and would be interested to hear from fellow geocachers that use one. In particularly how well they perform under heavy tree cover, or down in gorges as a lot of caches involve that situation. I currently use a Map 60CS which tends to drop the birds in t...

Re: Garmin CSX 60 for $299

I currently use a Garmin map60 CS but find I lose coverage under heavy tree cover, Is it worth investing in a Garmin map60 CSX as I believe they are surposed to work better in that situation? :-k

No "found status" appears on any of the Goggle earth icons for any caches I have found, what am I missing? Download a later version of all caches from Geocaching Australia perhaps, but all the cache letter symbols T, M, V, etc appear OK, just no "found status".

I like the idea of the cache type being overwritten with a "F" once found. Do you have to download or change something to get this function working. Also I have down sized the size of the cache icon via tools, options cache and now goggle earth won't let me change it back to it's orginal size ie: 64...

Screen protectors

I have just purchased a new GPS (60CS), Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy or what to use to protect the screen. I thought I read somewhere to use clear contact, does it work without doing any damage if replaced later. I've checked out USA it's cheap to buy made to measure screen protecto...

TYPE OF GPS TO BUY.

I am looking for advise on the best type of gps to buy. Have thought about either a Garmin Etrex Vista with or without colour, or a Magellan Meridan Standard Gps. Any suggestions or perhaps another brand or model. What is best suited for geocaching. Currently using a Magellan 310 but having trouble ...
