Re: "Computer support" phone scam
I just received another call, this time telling me that my computer on the internet gets unwanted files and folders on my hard drive that will corrupt my Operating System. The guy is currently on permanent hold. I wonder how long he will wait!

Re: "Computer support" phone scam
I had someone ring me a few weeks ago suggesting that they were working for a company on behalf of Microsoft. They told me that they were receiving a lot of error message eminating from my PC. They then took me into the system log and told me to look for all the error messages. I said that there wer...

Re: Real or Bogus cacher "dadandadd"
Dadandadd also logged one of my caches. I chose to send an email. Below is my email. "Hi dadandadd, I'm just a little curious. You've just logged a cache of mine (with the very minimal TFTC) dated October 4 2009, and yet you've only been a member for 10 days. In fact all your finds were before you w...

For anyone that lives nearby, I just picked up two sets at K-Mart Northcote. They had about 12 sets left at 3:00 pm.

Re: EcoDave is world famous!
I bought a Rigol Oscilloscope based on a review by Dave. I didn't realise that it was EcoDave - all I knew was that he was an aussie.

Re: Time to quit
Thanks for all the hard work, Mark. You were the one who pushed for an Australian reviewer and were the first, which then led to others. Without your work, we'd probably still be dependent on the US reviewers. Hope we will see you finding the odd cache around the place, and still attending some of t...
