Icon Facades and Hats
Hi. I've noticed over time that every now and again new Icon Facades become available. I really like the current selection with native animals, dragons and seasonal options. I'm just wondering if there might be a possibility in the near future of seeing some native flora like wattle, waratah or what...

Is there a minimum cache size requirement for this series?

Re: Future Games
I've decided to withdraw from this conversation. Keep chatting amongst yourselves. I'll still read new posts but I'm no longer trying to find a way for games to happen again. I look forward to partaking in any game that might come up in the future.

Re: Cache Owner Log Administration
I've seen a few issues of photo's not being added to a log for trig, but that's about it. If someone went around deleting some of my past logs made through the GA app for photo required caches, I'd lose a lot of finds. I had an issue with my phone or something. Mtrax tried to fix it but it still ha...

Re: Future Games
Do you mean real stickers, or the virtual kind? I was thinking real physical stickers might be an alternative/ cheaper option and might make people who only play for rewards more likely to join in. I think that's a bit sad though to be honest. That question was meant for caughtatwork, but I didn't ...

Re: Future Games
C@W, what are your thoughts on stickers as participant prizes, rather than the expensive pathtags for only some of the participants? Not that any prize is needed at all. Just wondering what your thoughts on this are.

Re: Future Games
Okay... So let's assume there were no pathtag rewards for games. Would people still be interested in being part of a fun challenge game still? If yes, please respond to the below. Would you be interested in: - a moveable game with distance and number of finds challenges (with the new moveable rules ...

Re: Main map - state breakdown
I'd like to see the choice to select the whole nation map from the homepage too. In the near past I used the homepage map to plan adventures. I nearly missed a GCA in an awesome location late last year because it was juuuust over the border. Would have missed it if it wasn't pointed out to me. I did...

Re: Looking for people to help create an Australia wide series
With GCA not having any restrictions on cache distance from home, do you recommend only hiding close to home, or can you hide one whilst on a holiday? Like, how many GCA cachers are there in the NT? I can see that cache maintenance would be an issue if far from home, and that might ruin the mystery ...

Is this going to be a bit like the XOE caches?

Re: Future Games
It's a bit like a First To Find race. You hide a specially designed geocoin out in the big wide world and publish the coordinates on their website. People see when one has been hidden and they do crazy things to get to it first so they "snag the tag" before anyone else. It's something you can do wit...

Re: Future Games
I'll play! I tend to lose pathtags anyway.... I don't mind the electronic one on the profile - maybe have a Project-GC-esque levels of tag for the winners to display on their profile.... We don't find GC caches for rewards, just the fun, so I don't need tangible rewards to go for GA caches either. ...

Re: Future Games
In some cases, especially in country areas, a 'group' can go through a zone and change caches' allegiance, and even zones' allegiance, and while this looks like fun at the start, it often seems to end up as a group against one lone geocacher who lives in the area. This is very true, but it's part o...

Re: Future Games
It has been raised in another thread on this forum that some people might like to play another game soon. So I'm bumping this thread to start conversations back up about the idea. :!: I encourage you all to read the previous conversation in this thread to see or refresh your memory on what was discu...
