Re: Report Site Issues Here

It has been slow for the last couple of days for us. Talking to several cachers earlier today and they all have the same problem. Only happening with the GCA site. Haha. I couldn't get into the forum to ask or see what was up for those few days. Had to keep refreshing most of the day/s to get the d...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

I don't think everyone is getting 70 points though. I spoke with someone about it and they only got 10. Still more than usual.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

Thank you. That explains both.

BTW, thanks for the 70 points over the last couple of days. Who doesn't love a surprise like that. \:D/

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

I'm actually missing a few dZ points. How long does it usually take to receive Karma points? 2 of my GCA caches were found on the 9th Aug but are not showing in my points yet. Also, I noticed that on 15th July I received 74.25 points as a zone control bonus. On Friday I managed to bring another zone...

Re: XOE caches

My cache lists the three episodes which are hosted at Geocaching Australia. The same three episodes are for all XoE caches. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC1CQB1_geotalk-xoe-auditory-not-visual You can reuse my clues if you like. That's fantastic, and thank you for letting me reuse them. I th...

When that happened to me I saw a previous post about logging out of the forums and logging back into the forums before trying the main site again and that worked for me.
Thank you so much. That worked. I didn't get my dZ points for the day though. Haha.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

I can't log in to the website. It just keeps redirecting me to the login/register screen.

Re: XOE caches

I'm just wondering... Do any of the COs of these XOE caches want to keep these going by making the podcast clues available on a current active Australian podcast? I'm offering to place the clues in our podcast, The Geocaching Downunder Podcast. Look it up if you haven't discovered it yet. Also on Yo...

Viewer Stats

Hi. I'm wondering if the GCA website admins can see statistics on how many times a cache page has been hit over a period of time? Or can you tell if there is an unusual spike in new members signing up? I'm asking because Cached, Seemyshell and I made a fuss about 'Nude up for a smilie' in our latest...

Re: Search for cache using map feature

Thanks for that. It'a always best to link to what you are doing so I can debug it. The page should now behave as you expect. It was amended when the new archived search was pushed live last week but I now see it should not have been. New archived search? Just found it. Fantastic! Now I can delete t...

Re: Allocating dZ points more than once

I just logged my cache finds from Sunday. I got a dZ bag top level disruptor. I just wanted to see what it does so applied it to one of my moveable caches and it took about 270 points away from Cerberus and made Griffin leader with only 5 points. That's...[removes swear word]...pretty unfair. With a...

Re: Finding Own Caches

I don't suppose these sorts are the same that log archived caches that are clearly stated as being transferred to GC? If I wanted people to log such caches on both sites I would have left the GCA ones active. That's not playing the game the way it's meant to be played. [-X I am an archived cache hu...

Re: Finding Own Caches

I've never logged my own caches except locationless. I'd probably log my own moveable ones once if they crossed my path. There would have to be a good reason to log your own hides. I can't think of any at all myself. Numbers of finds, streaks (which are just more numbers), filling your calendar or a...
