Re: Team cards cuasing a problem.

An interesting topic, I have never used a "team Card" I have a hole punch and a stamp of a swampgecko(What some of my NQ friends use to call crocodiles), but I haven't used them in quite a while. The Team cards are a pain in the caching rump. They fill the cache up with needless paper and could even...

Re: Whats happening here?

Now there's an idea. I have a good head for podcasting. Actually, so do you Swampy. Maybe we can interview each other. You, your white wine and axe. Me, my port and tarot cards. B. Scarey idea, actually I have been promoting geocaching on a personal level, I was asked to talk about geocaching at a ...

Re: Cache / Hikers log hybrids

My gut feeling is to say no. Hiking/bushwalking groups may get put offside by the fact that you have "hi-jacked" their logbook for another purpose, though from what you are proposing the walks are for serious hikers anyway.

I was the cacher involved with the project. It was loosely based on geocaching, but only as a commercial enterprise. The caches were never intended for publication on any geocaching website. The actual project covered the Hawkesbury in total. There are five caches set up. The cache they did was a co...

Sorry but no, this event conflicts with another event I have been attending on a now regular basis over the Easter Weekend. I shall hopefully be enjoying the delights of Victoria's High Country(Tolmie, I hope) and all it has to offer in regards to 4wd'ing.

I wouldn't have a problem with those who choose not to donate still getting access to basic features such as cache listings and the forums. The financial supporters get access to the groovy features like plots and graphs.<p>The problem is the site is already so good that it is hard to think of what...

It is imperative that you read and understand the Cache Listing Requirements and Guidelines prior to placing each and every geocache. Please make sure to obtain permission from the landowner or land manager. Once you are prepared, fill out our online form to report a new cache. This is a free servi...

I think just acknowledging the fact that someone has donated to the site by a simple "Financial Supporter of GCA" tag under the Avatar of the member would be enough. I don't do coins, and to get them made, the site would have to raise extra funds to cover the manufacturing of them as well as funding...

Ok I had archived it ages ago on Scout's site, but now today it has come up as archived on GCA... no idea.. all I did today was make a tag "archived" I asked Scout about about the feed: Scout I don't know. I think I provided information on how to do it once, but I don't know if GCA set up a system t...
