Re: changing password - data breach?
No oddly enough I do t use that password anywhere else except the main gc website. Gca and gca forum were the only one flagged. Noo e else has mentioned it and apparently it was detected 17 days ago so I wasn't necessarily concerned. But just thkught I'd change just in case. Didn't realise you had t...

Re: Drone Cache (Split from original thread)
You could always do a night drone cache... attach a torch to your drone and hover around looking for a reflector that can only be seen from above indicating which tree holds a physical container that you can collect from the ground. Could even make a trail in the same way, following red reflectors u...

Re: cache rating
The rating on the page though show only individual ratings, ie how many of each rating. It doesn't show the average rating for the cache in the ratinf that shows up in the search queries.

cache rating
so. i created a series of caches based on ratings assuming that everyone knew where they could easily see a caches rating in the right column of the search page. well you know what they say about assumptions. so i was wondering if it was possible to put a caches average rating on the cache page so p...

Re: New cache type idea
I think you should be able to find your own caches after finds by others yes. Maybe they can be like challenge caches on gc in that you have to have done it yourself before you can publish it. In saying that that feels like it's adding rules and they don't necessarily belong here nor is there anyone...

Re: New cache type idea
The idea was that they would be specific location caches not locatonless. A sort of offset of a virtual cache in the same way a gadget cache is an offset of a traditional cache. So they would be log once only caches (although there's nothing stopping a person logging multiple times in the same way y...

New cache type idea
So I had an idea for a new cache type. I guess it's sort of a twist on a virtual cache type but with a bit more. I call it the community cache Or community benefits cache. Or activist cache Not actually settled on a name yet But the idea it's a cache where the community Or environment or researchers...
