Re: 2020 Game of Games

Thanks but question came about as you mentioned dragonZone in your post "I think this is the right forum to mention this as it applies to the April Dragon Zone Game" the games are just game of games for all GCA players not just dZ players, hence I got confused.

Re: 2020 Game of Games

A question? - Do all locationless caches count towards dragonZone tasks now?

Re: New dragonZone Research Activities Live But Not Yet Active

Sounds intriguing and sounds like the faeries have been working hard behind the scenes. How long before they are live?

Re: 2020 Game of Games

Yes you only need one to qualify but the first event I logged was GA14517 which had 30 teams log, a great effort. I qualified immediately as I checked (but now feel my recognised log is one that the type was "other"). Out of the 30 who logged this event, 7 are now not on the qualifier list including...

Re: 2020 Game of Games

I just noticed the qualifiers have changed for the March games from yesterday. It appears (perhaps) if cache was archived it isn't counting? There are some names who have disappeared altogether. I picked this up as I had 3 finds (I know you only need 1 to count) against me and now only 1 and further...

Re: 2020 Game of Games

I just saw that the task for April 2020 game of games have been altered which is fantastic. Time to start thinking creatively: "Locationless Geocaching @ Home Due to the recent COVID-19 Pandemic and the advice that restricting your movements outside your home to only essential activities, Geocaching...

Yes thanks for all the behind the scenes work that keeps GCA running. May have to have a look at downloading direct to gps from my query as sounds a good option. Merry Christmas

Re: dragonZone

I have been wondering the same. I think you might have to trade hard earned research points to achieve the icons which I wont do until I achieve the blaze research trophy. Not sure what you do with icons if you do trade for them. Just my thoughts.

Archiving a future cache

Hi can the faeries please check GA41116 please. I had it set up as a future cache but it is no longer required. I tried archiving twice, once on today's date and once on future date. It looks archived but it stills shows as maybe publishing. Thanks

Re: Report Site Issues Here

I believe there is an issue when publishing new caches. The terrain rate and difficulty rate reverts to 1/1 and takes a few edits to get it to accept the d/t you want. It also happens when you edit an old cache, the d/t reverts to 1/1.
