'WorstCacheScenario' is actually the caching team name I suspect.

Re: NEWBIES, scared, need help (Getting back into geocaching)
I'm assuming you want help loading up GC.com caches, and not GCA, though the process is similar. You have to pay the money to be a premium member. (Skip this step for GCA caches. Yay!) Set up your pocket query for the area and cache types your interested in, and run it. Download the gpx file from th...

Re: Proposed new home page
Liking the changes. While there has been debate as to the relevance of forums in today's social media driven world, I still think the forum is just as important to GCA as actually listing the caches. I'd like to see an obvious banner / button for easy navigation to the forum. Here is an example, al...

Re: RSS feeds, a time to die.
What happened in 2010 to get the volumes so high?

Re: Is Geocaching Australia worth pursuing?
Recently there was a forum post asking How many people still visit the forums? . Given the question was in the forums, whilst there was a bunch of replies, only one person claimed to never visit. And I'm beginning to wonder if they were serious. So the views of those who don't visit weren't captured...

Re: Feature Request - Batched Uploads
I'm glad you like the idea. 8) I didn't realize the new server wasn't in yet and can relate too not having the time for these non-essential tasks. I would suggest that processing speed, which I assume is the key thing the new server brings, isn't needed for a batch task. In fact the reason for batch...

Feature Request - Batched Uploads
I wonder if we could have the ability to upload a batch of GPX files, say up to 20, have on screen acknowledgement that they have been received, and then have the server processes the files at it's leisure. Once processed have the server send a summary email, with files processed, logs loaded, cache...

Re: Updating forum stars to show catches
If I upload a GPX file with lots of logs, will the server continue to process it if I close the browser window? (As I quickly get bored and look for other shiny things.)

Re: New Program - GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife)
There's a break up by state of the dates for each 500 caches here http://geocaching.com.au/stats/range/ , but the Wiki here needs updating as you can now get 1,000 per PQ and 10 PQs per day. Alternatively, you can do it for the whole country using these dates. http://project-gc.com/Tools/PQSplit?mu...

Re: How many people still visit the forums
I drop by regularly. Not daily, like I use too, but I'm here multiple times a week. Facebook is good because it's local. I know the places, caches and most of the people. Whereas most of the discussions here are of caches I'll never get too. The forums are a much better media for a discussion though...

Re: New Server
The last setting in the BIOS screen shot is "Snoop Mode". What on earth is Snoop Mode I asked Mr Google.
This was the first hit.
Where you can patrol the streets and stuff. you can be snoop dogg.
I think this server might fit right in.

Good on them for having a crack at that, though I think the creator might have a bit more credibility if they shared their Geocaching name on the Kickstarter.

Right. Too much Wibbly Wobbly and not enough Timey Wimey is my guess then.
Hmm, the post I responded to changed whilst I typed.
Thanks for the update.

Re: OSM Option on GCA Maps
I must be missing something. Where's the link to access OSM maps? I can't see it on the cache pages.
