4.5/1 'Mind Games 6 - Mensa' if you happen to go to Brisbane. An interesting puzzle..

Re: Can you crack this secret code?
Thanks pjmpjm, that seems to be a solution for a similar competition from 2011. This is a new one, released about a week ago.

Re: Oddball 'communities'
Wanted to check it out the other day but the ingress game is made for android OS only, I think. It would not work with iPhone.

Re: Taming new Garmin Montana
I think you're right, I can live without checking the elevation plot on the go too. The more important features like tracking my way back to the car, etc. seem too work well

Re: Taming new Garmin Montana
Thanks maccamob, I removed OSM entirely, reset GPS a couple of times, but still doing the same - crashes when the navigation is active and I click on the 'Elevation Plot' button. Meantime I found other Montana owners mentioning the same issue (with relation to the latest Montana firmware update) on ...

Re: Taming new Garmin Montana
My Montana always crashes when I click on the 'Elevation Plot' while the navigating is active.
I wonder if any other Montana owner has the same issue.

Re: Help save the Holy Truck Cache
Hi Ange, you can display the Holy Truck Cache in GC.com: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=67dc4676-c978-4dd8-9fc0-5269c4f8a364 then click each finder's name and 'Send Message' in their profile. I am not aware of contacting all finders of a particular cache with one email. Good ...

Re: New Garmin Monterra android gps
I like Monterra's connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (that's what I miss in Montana) but don't like the hybrid flavour. Will the next Garmin after Monterra have full android phone capability.. again? And why not, it's a very lucrative market and considering that they are probably losing market share in ...

Re: Geo Apps??
Mind you, on android we are able to browse the filesystem properly, so I can click on the zip in the browser, have it download to the download folder and open it from cachesense and c:geo... it all works differently from iOS. Yes, it's different in iOS: we can click on the zip in the browser but th...

Re: Geo Apps??
Geosphere imports / opens files in GPX format as I explained before. NOw I tried to do the same in zip format (hitting the ZIP button in GCA web) and it works the same (Geosphere unzips GCA's file and directs GPX's into a selected Geosphere folder). I can let you know how to set it up on iPhone, it'...

Re: Geo Apps??
I don't have an Android phone with c:geo but I wonder if bulk downloading GCA caches would work same as in my iPhone / Geosphere. All I need to do is to run a GCA query in the browser window of Geosphere, then hit GPX button (still in the GCA web site) and Geosphere asks me into which folder I want ...

Re: Geo Apps??
Not sure what platform you use but if it is OSX (iPhone, iPad) then my recommendation is Geosphere. You can also do all the cache planning, sorting and filtering, imaging and find logging with this ap. Works great with multies as well.
