Re: 2009 Cyber Flash Mob Topic “Positive Caching Experience”

The people I've met, the places caching has taken me, and the knowledge that this is going on all over the world. :D

I have found 67 C@W caches. I'm guessing that not too many people have found more. I therefore feel well qualified to comment on both the quality and quantity of Peter's hides. Long before I went to Bendigo I cut my caching teeth on the 'clever' series of hides in the western suburbs that stood me i...

Well Done Ian

This is a great introduction to the game and I have someone I know who is getting into the sport who will really benefit from listening to this.

Having recently returned from a trip to Wagga and having a BBQ with the organisers last Saturday, all I can say is that they have given this a lot of thought already. The enthusiasm that they have generated should carry them a long way and the amount of forward planning that they have already put in...

I see Big Willy and Little Willy have both gotten ten correct today in less time than it actually takes to read the questions. Is someone trying to prove something? It certainly seems fast. I sure I could get nowhere near that, if I was playing, though dear old featherdown managed a career best 35 ...

I have had no reply from them yet and have added a checksum as a temporary measure on my most recent cache.

Whenever I travel with Oenze we use Tom Tom. For nearly a year we listened to bland Aussie Ken and I thought that was our only choice. Then I found we had a whole galaxy of voices. Now we listen to an English girl and her soothing tones mean that I get a lot less frustrated when she stuffs up.

Well Done Marcus. That is an amazing feat in 174 crowded days. (or just 83 as it appears) I'm sure your record will last for some time to come. Oenze and I enjoyed following you around canberra a few weeks back but since then we have slowed down but you obviously have not! Keep those numbers coming....

And I thought I was the only one with this problem. About 6 mths ago the rubber began slipping, then a few weeks later the 2 buttons on the LHS fell off one by one. Being a lazy sod I have never bothered to fix it and now resort to using the ends of pens to alter Lat & Long. As a result it takes me ...

My goals this year are as follows:
purchase a PDA so I can get out of paper caching,
find less caches this year (I went out too fast last year),
get to 1000 caches soon so I can get that target out of the way,
meet more cachers and go caching together more often,
put out a lot more caches :)
