Re: GCA Rewards Program

Not wishing to add to the Faeries' work load, but any chance my 500 finds trinket might make it's way to me? It's not about the shiny things, but being the first 500 finder In SA, I want to flaunt it at every opportunity! (and promote GCA as well).

Re: Let's Talk Angels!

Can you work out who moved the most angels? I gave it a shot! I was thinking the rewards recognise the caches not the cachers... (where's the violin emoticon??) You can borrow.my avatar if you like... I'm actually a bit embarrassed that I moved my own cache so far, but there were only a c...

Re: thanks to 'hiders' of locationless caches

I've DNF'ed a few of the SA State Survey Markers: one because I just can't find the marker plate, though it should be there, it's covered with dirt and twigs somewhere within 1 m of the marker post, and one or two more that were home to extremely large ant nests full of extremely large ants. I'm not...

Re: Doing GCA caches

I have also noticed a bias against GCA caches here in SA. No idea why. I don't mind, it reduces the competition for FTF's :D If I'm having a poor run of GC traditionals, there's nearly always a survey mark nearby to help ease the frustration. An interesting statistic to pursue would be what percenta...

Re: handmade items for swap

I have not hand-made swaps, but I have been hand-making the cache containers. Only put 1 out so far, but it is a box made of western red cedar that used to be a fitting in the house that became redundant, so I put it to a better use. The others are waiting for the right location... I haven't thought...

Re: DNFs Logged vs. Actual DNFs

Hello, my first post here, interesting discussion on a topic I have thought about, as being relatively new, I'm still "getting my eye in" looking for caches. I don't like admitting defeat, but don't think I'm searching as hard as I could. Sometimes there are factors that don't fit the DNF category l...
