Re: Has the CGA CGC site been changed?

Thanks Caughtatwork,

If I could work out how to upload the screenshot in here it would be great. I am sorry but I have no idea? I have done a printscreen and copied it to my desktop but now what?

Thanks

Re: Has the CGA CGC site been changed?

Thanks Geo_jas,

Unless I am mistaken and blind the word "had" in your comment is the operative. I do remember editing on the CGA site in the past and hitting the save button, but I can no longer see it?

Regards

Re: Has the CGA CGC site been changed?

In the forum, on the sub navigation bar under the header logo, look for Search. http://forum.geocaching.com.au/search.php GCA doesn't have the facility to edit a log through the GA Cacher app (as far as I am aware). You can edit logs via the website on a mobile browser as you would via a PC. Which ...

Has the CGA CGC site been changed?

Hmm two questions guys, Firstly I cannot find a search box for the forums or am I just blind? Secondly, in reference to question 1, I had been trying to find out if there have been any updated/changes to the CGA and CGC sites in that I attempted to to edit a log recorded while in the field, I edited...

Re: Lone Cachers

Blackadders said, "this is supposed to be a family hobby" I have never thought of Geocaching that way. I see it is for anyone, regardless of whether they have a family. For those that don't have a family that's an excluding comment. Please, lets not get the topic and suggestion out of context, yes ...

Re: Navigate to GZ using Website map

Thankyou all for the responses, I am pleased that you mentioned the GA Cacher application and I will give that a try, I also appreciate that the particular App includes GA caches. In the field it is tiresome navigating to another site (GC) to see the details and then try and navigate from there, als...

Lone Cachers

Thought this topic may be of interest to any and all cachers who find themselves searching on their own. Yes this is supposed to be a family hobby but are there any out there like me who's family just does not have the addictive bug that you get from finding that elusive hide? I am part of a team wh...

Re: Caching in our Schools

I'd think it would be better for everyone if they place caches in their school or local area and distribute information about their hides internally, not on a public site. That way they get to play and have fun, and no-one gets upset at : a) kids leaving stupid logs b) cachers going and seeking cac...

Navigate to GZ using Website map

Good Morning / Afternoon all, Please excuse my naivety as the answer to my question may already be available. I have looked in the forum but with all the posts and no place that I can see to enter a search, I have not as yet been able to find any answers. I am not an expert on new technology however...

Re: Caching in our Schools

This may sound negative but its my 2 bobs worth anyway. I have no concerns if schools use geocaching as a Game within the school, however these caches should not be included and or published in the main Geo sites as a public cache. A record of the location can be kept by the teacher and or school fo...
