Huzzah! Just scored a free gnome from my Aunt who has one "with all the paint coming off".

I can't believe how happy I am about getting a worn out gnome. You people have corrupted my brain!

As a newbie I thought I'd skip this... but I'm too tempted by gnome customisation to let it go... anyone sad if a newbie gets involved?

Lots of offers here too, but I don't actually mind. They're cheap, and a friend in the states says the quality of the stuff is good, so I'm keeping an eye on them for Christmas presents

Maybe TB hotels themselves are just basically a bad idea? I have seen too many go missing over time with the consequent loss of quite a few trackables. Whereas if a normal cache goes missing then one or two (if any) are lost. I'm actually wondering this myself. I'm about to activate 2 trackables an...
