Re: Dubious Finds
I have now checked another cache. I found NINE names that had logged, but there is no sign of their signatures on the log. I was very surprised by the high number; some of them reasonably well established cachers. I gave a couple the benefit of the doubt, but the others I send emails to, to ask the...

Got a log last night of "Small container" for one of my caches. Now, my inital reaction was "Oh F*** you i'm not hiding a bloody ammo can there, it's not that small, what the, wah wah wah" My second thought was "...hmm that doesnt seem right, my spider sence is tingling" Went past there this morning...

Re: Logging of archived geocaches
Although I feel that if a cache is archived, it should also be physically removed. Otherwise caching is adding to litter and pollution. Could not agree more. I get that there are people that think "nope, i've had enough of geocaching, i'm going to archive all of it" but, just leaving it there just ...

"So for the last couple of weeks, i have been on crutches recovering from a soft-tissue injury in my ankle (which ironically enough was NOT c...

Re: Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition
1002 in one weekend sounds a little too keen! I ordered the general event badge, but i traded it at world moot (where i couldnt even find the cache that was at the campground, as i got yelled at by a security person. BOO!). I suppose i should buy another one. I only just entered my cubs into this on...

Re: Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings Bronnie_1990 but with just 66 finds since the Ides of March you're trailing a distant second to Black Bunney's 395 (assuming that BB is registered in the comp and also assuming that no others are ahead of you in the ACT). I'll be in Canberra myself next week an...

Yeah...so i need to get outside more.
However, i'm pretty sure i'm the only rover in ACT doing it, so i may be winning by default.
(prove me wrong, someone)

Re: Event stacking
I always thought the whole idea of the geocaching community is about "you do it your way, I'll do it mine." No one is forcing anyone to go to events, and at the end of the day it's not hurting anybody. "Live and let live". Why is it that when someone on a forum speaks out about a pet peeve that thi...
