I still have my garmin, but haven't used it in years. I use my phone now, purely on the spontaneity of it, i can just open the app and search the area and go (rather than previously having to plan and map out an adventure, I am not good at planning). and the phone makes it so much easier with the ge...

I use the Geocaching.com one (not free) and C:geo. I'm still not 100% on one of them. the geocaching.com one is growing on me, c:geo hasnt quite yet.. but i'm still playing with it.

Thanks for linking your site CraigRat, I'll also check it out and surely ill find one that suits my needs =)

oh BTN *shudders* I still squirm at it from being made to watching it in school and write reports on the stories...and they werent fun stories like this one!!

where are the caches just sitting out in the open when I'm looking for them!

we are already locked in to go north of cairns in nov 2012 to see the solar eclipse, if we can organise (afford) 2 trips that year we will be in =) so will be keeping an eye on details!

(currently 2 from nsw but very high posibility of spawning before then ;))

am very keen and interested. altho over a year away is a long time in our gypsy lifestyle. but will keeping close tabs on this and hope to be able to lock it in =)

now we are going to be debating rock cairns...i know of one...and i know its not a servey point or trig point or anything...its the remains of an old church they used and piled it up. i guess it marks the spot where a church once stood...

im interested in them too, as i LOVE lighthouses!!!!
