I use an etrex 20 for caching and think its a top unit for the price, Its got all the features that I want and not too many that I don't. Peter, I use shonky maps with Garmin Basecamp. I use Basecamp to view and import the shonky maps into the GPS. I'll show you what I do at the Mega event if you like. Shonkymaps have their limitations but they are free

Is that a rule? I didn't think there were any rules here. If I want to play the game by finding caches, not signing the log but logging the find online then surely thats ok, so long as I'm playing the game how I want of course.caughtatwork wrote: No log in the book, no find, delete the log.

A pointless caches = pointless log :-# I'd like to see more logs actually saying that a cache was a crappy experience if thats what it was. Instead of the usual "Found GZ pretty easily, signed the log TFTC" how about saying "Found GZ pretty easily, just another unimaginative hollow log in the middl...
