Re: Can you plot a database on GSAK onto a map?

+1 on what Bunya said.

Since I've had GSAK I've used the previous versions of this mapping macro. I spend most of my time in the map on one screen and jumping back to GSAK on the other screen when I click the links. It's so good it should come bundled with GSAK.

Re: Open Street Map Australia

Just to chime in, all of my finds have been with OSM on my Garmin Colorado. Like CraigRat said, I copy the img files directly onto my Garmin and restart, and the maps appear. Don't even need to use a SD card. I've even become a contributor and I add walking paths in National Parks that are missing, ...

Re: Anyone know what sistemas are made of?

Or more to the point what glue sticks to them well? :-k I've just bought some of this (for a cache I'm making) from Bunnings, apparently it works well for PE & PP plastics like sistema's http://www.selleys.com.au/adhesives/household-adhesive/quick-fix-adhesive/plastics-glue I haven't tried it yet, ...

Re: New Program - GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife)

I've just noticed too that I have logs from states of Australia I've never been too - presumably coming from Leapfrogs/Gegnomes. The easiest way to manage movables in your GSAK database, is to add corrected coordinates when you find a movable (which would be the same co-ordinates that the cache cur...

Re: My cache got muggled. Woe is me.

:( :( :( For the non South Australians, the cache of chillibutts that has gone missing was an iconic cache, something the locals would show visiting cachers. It's accrued 47 favourite points since Feb (a 54% ratio of premium members). http://coord.info/GC2KXT9 There will be something not-quite-right...

Bring them my way!!! Pretty please!! 8) :frog :frogette :gnomette :gnome Sadly we didn't get near the Western suburbs today. So the :frogette :frog ended up on Mt Lofty. The :gnome wants to head home to Melbourne so we'll drop him off somewhere near the freeway that heads to Mexico. Not sure where ...

Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open

We went out and picked up a :gnome and some :frogette :frog yesterday. We now have 3 years worth of movable caches in the car: one from 2009, a Gnome from 2010 and 2 frogs from 2011

Thanks Freddo, I didn't know you could dry out used silica gel. I'll put some old packs on my roof on a hot summer's day - that should do the trick.

I must say the movable cache race this year is so much better for those of us with Android phones and your app. Thanks so much!

Re: new GCA android app

mtrax needs a lot of thanks from everyone who uses this app. It's free after all and you can't get better than that. Indeed. =D> =D> I use swype as the keyboard and find its very good for logging caches in the field (both GC & GCA). It solves the problem of big fingers on a small keyboard for me.

=D> =D> I'm so much more technological this year. Searching for and logging CGA caches in the field on a Galaxy II. And getting twitter feed on the phone of others moving and logging GCA. Such a leap forward from last year (pun intended) \:D/ \:D/

You're invited to speak at a conference in South Africa, and before you accept you check the GC.com map to see how many caches are nearby.
