hi djcache, I don't have a Colorado, but Mischief's Crew have a Colorado 300 and they said it locks up on caches that have html links to other caches etc. Such as a link to an archived cache or other caches the owner has etc. You can ask Mischief's Crew for more info, I'm sure they'd be happy to tel...

Cool video, and certainly a great path with fantastic views! I'd do it no problem. Yes the path has fallen into disrepair a bit, but it can be walked, no abseiling or prussiking gear needed, and there's a guide wire in most places I saw, so I'd rate it maybe 4.5 for the scare factor. If there was a ...

track plot

Hi Andrew, what you just did sounds exactly the same as MapSource. I would've converted your track file to a gdb and edited it in MapSource as it's a piece of cake. I edit track files all the time in MapSource after converting from OziCE when out caching for a day. Nice to see where you've been in G...

Dynamite John

LOL, that's John out of LOST....he's obviously thinking "hmmm, I wonder if this bag of dynamite will be enough to blow the cover off that hatch?"
although at a quick glance he does look like Phil of Philma!

Hi fehrgo, the number of waypoints that OziCE can handle is 1004. I found out the hard way when we visited a cache and we missed one close by as it wasn't on the list due to OziCe truncating my 1100 odd cache list. Oh well, good excuse to go back another day!

GPSr type software

Hi embi you say you just want an arrow to follow after you type in co-ordinates. VitoNavigator II is a great little russian? program that will do the job you want. http://vitotechnology.com/en/products/navigatorii.html I used to use it and its great. It only uses loc files, not gpx, but they are sim...

Que on PDA

hey thanks heaps for that link mtrax! I first tried running que on my PDA about a year ago but gave up when I found that Garmin only allow their M10 bluetooth GPS to be used with it. That patch with GPSProxy allows me to use Que with my CF GPS and it works great! I loaded up the CityNav maps and of ...

PPC software

Hi Jarrode, I agree with Ian and Penny, OziExplorerCE on your PDA is the go, and it's brilliant when used with UBD maps. Quite easy to cache with, just zoom in to 1000% when you get fairly close and follow the yellow line. Can I suggest you go to http://www.vitotechnology.com/en/products/navigatorii...
