Hi all, Wait for it... I am also a Taswegian, born in Launceston, raised in Whitemore (Near Carrick) and then moved to Adelaide to pursue a life as a diesel mechanic. I started caching in Tassie when I was home on a holiday in 06 and when I came back to SA I got too busy and forgot all about caching...

Thanks Caughtatwork, that is great. I have found what I needed to run pocket queries from day dot for SA, if anyone would like copies of the gpx zip files just pm me and I will email them to you :)

Good gpsr

I have found the Garmin GPS 76 a really good unit (after I had changed the settings to wgs 84!) it took me within 3 metres of a cache under light tree cover! Seems to be deadly accurate! they sell for about 300 to 700 AUD depending which model GPS 76 you go for http://www.garmin.com

Garmin GPS 76 at the moment... After a couple of teething problems ( wrong settings in gps) it puts me right at GZ even with some obstruction of satellite view
