All went very well GIN15E, but only found 2 of my 3 caches I had planned! eX 600 with the new firmware worked great with additional functionality, easier menu systems, quicker map loading and didn't loose sat's at all, whether it be in the car of under high trees and foliage. A receommend upgrade.

Thanks GIN51E, I got the balls to upgrade my 600 this morning. Thought if it didnt take, I'd would be w/o the GPSr for all of the Xmas break.

But it worked well, no problems. New features look good, but off to do 3 caches today to see how it really works.

As owner of the Topo SD card, I understand that when the CD version does arrive, current owners can receive the CD for $0.

Anyone applied the firmware update to the 600 yet? It appears to be the same file as applied to the 500 ie. "eX500v2 03.exe"

The Yanks appear to have upload the "500" firmware to the 600 without any problems!
